AML and Verification at Buffalo Casino
At Buffalo Casino we apply identity verification and anti-money laundering procedures to keep our platform secure and to meet the obligations of our licence. This page explains what documents we may ask for, when checks apply and how your information is handled. Please read these terms together with our general Terms and Conditions, as both can be updated from time to time.
Identity Verification
You can upload your verification documents directly through your profile. We ask for a valid ID or passport, a selfie of you holding the document and a photo of the payment method you use. All images must be clear and readable so our team can review them. Where we request documents, our terms require them to be submitted within 7 days. In some cases we may also ask for bank statements, proof of address or notarized copies of your ID. Verification may delay withdrawals until the review is complete, so we recommend submitting documents promptly.
Information We Collect
Our AML policy applies a staged approach to customer due diligence. The first step applies to every customer and covers basic identity, residence, contact and payment details. Further steps apply at higher deposit or withdrawal levels or where an account presents higher risk, and may include an identity document, a photo of your face next to a six-digit code we provide and proof of your address dated within the last 3 months.
- Identity, residence, contact and payment details for all customers
- Identity document for checks above certain transaction levels or risk indicators
- Photo of your face next to a six-digit code we provide
- Proof of address no older than 3 months
- Bank statements or notarized ID where requested
Source of Funds
At the highest verification step, which applies above certain transaction levels or where an account is assessed as higher risk, we may ask you to evidence your source of wealth or source of funds. This can include documents showing where the money you play with comes from. Providing these documents when requested helps us complete the check without unnecessary delay to your withdrawals.
Enhanced Checks
Accounts linked to higher risk indicators are subject to enhanced due diligence. This can mean additional identity documents, address evidence and source-of-funds documentation. We do not accept registrations from regions classified as high risk under our policy.
Account Rules
You must be at least 18 years old to open an account. Each player may hold one personal account only, and account sharing or transfers between players are not permitted. Accounts that remain inactive for more than 13 months are subject to an inactivity fee charged every 30 days, with a minimum amount applying.
Payments and Ownership
Payment methods used on your account should be registered in your own name, and third-party payment methods are restricted under our terms. If you intend to use a shared payment method, please contact our support team first so we can confirm whether it can be accepted on your account.
Ongoing Monitoring and Records
We use automated monitoring together with manual review to follow account activity and identify transactions that require closer inspection. Identification and transaction records are retained for ten years in line with our AML policy.
